Paula Abdul May Switch to Dancing after Singing

With Paula’s exit as an American Idol judge, there has been offers left and right for her to join the panel of current reality shows. Her name is being mentioned in at least two dancing reality shows, So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With the Stars.

However, Dancing With the Stars judge Mark Ballas said that Paula can join their show as a competitor and not as a judge. She has no formal dancing training nor she’s an expert in Latin ballroom dancing.

On the other hand, Nigel Lythgoe says that show, So You Think Can Dance, would welcome her presence and her contribution. Nigel is the show’s producer and he recognizes Paula’s dancing abilities as shown in her MTV’.s. She’s also a choreographer in her own right.

But then, Lythgoe is not going to draw a deal for Paula until after American Idol kicks off without her. He said he doesn’t want Paula to sign up with him until she’s 100% sure she’s not coming back to Idol. This would also make it easier for the Idol producers to re-negotiate with her.

OctoMom Special to be Aired Next Week

The winner is finally hailed. After weeks of gruelling competition, Jeanine Mason came up as the big winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” dancing reality show. Jeanine Mason beat Brandon Bryant for the title. And they’re both great dancers.

When asked about her new found fame, she can only thank America for voting for her. It feels so amazing she says, to be living a normal life and then being thrown into Hollywood the red carpet.

Paula Abdul Quits American Idol

It’s official. Paula Abdul had said goodbye to the American Idol judging gig. We won’t be seeing her in the next season, or ever again for that matter. Paula called it quits just recently, although there has been reports that she had already expressed her exasperation over the delay in her Idol contract.

Maybe the fact that Kara DioGuardi has given a contract first irked Paula even more. And even more she has become fully decided to quit American Idol. Last season, Kara was added to the panel as the fourth judge, something Paula is not really in favor of.

Now with Paula gone, Kara will fully take her place as the sole woman judge in this reality singing show.

So You Think You Can Dance Finale

The fifth season’s winner is going to be hailed very soon. The finals night is scheduled at the Kodak Theater. The four dancers to waltz into the coronation night are Brandon Bryant, Evan Kasprzak, Jeanine Mason, and Kayla Radomski.

Their fate is in the hands of original judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy. But to make the event more exciting, they will be joined by Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio, Adam Shankman, and Debbie Allen in the deciding panel.

After the finals night on August 3 and 4, So You Think You Can Dance returns in fall. It will be aired during Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Season six premiers September 9. The show’s Tueday episode goes head to head with Dancing with the Stars.

Kara DioGuardi Back on American Idol

While the newbies are busy preparing their hearts out for the auditions, there’s tension on the American Idol set – at least as far as the judges are concerned. American idol judge Paula is threathening not to return on the next season because of prolonged contract drafting. Little do we know that it’s the same problem with Kara DioGuardi.

Paula’s return is still a mystery. But Kara DioGuardi’s presence on Season 9 is now recently confirmed. Producer Simon Cowell sealed the deal and retained Kara’s position as the fourth judge of the well-loved American talent show. But with Paula’s exit, she will be in the third chair.

Cowell described Kara as a “breath of fresh air” for the show. Is Paula too old that Kara was handed a contract faster than her? Is Paula in or out? Cowell said she’s in. But we all just have to wait and see.

Jon and Kate Plus Eight Back on TV

After the tumultous break-up, Jon and Kate Plus Eight is back on TV. But don’t producers think it’s time for a new title? There are no Jon and Kate any longer. Kate says it’s minus Jon. And the kids are feeling it bad.

The first two episodes of the reality series focuses on “Renovations and Vacations”, thus the title. Kate’s kitchen is being remodelled. Jon is supervising it so the viewers didn’t see much of him. The episode mostly focused on Kate and the kids.

Kate took the kids to a North Carolina beach. They also made a backyard tent for some indoor adventure. When asked though how mom is doing with the tent, the kids said, “Bad. Wish dad is doing it.”

The Bachelorette’s Final Choice

The bachelorette has finally made her decision. Between Kiptyn and Ed, she, quite predictably, chose Ed. Between the two guys, Ed was the runaway winner.

The episode was all about the final two meeting Jillian’s family. The highlight of which is when Jillian’s father have to ask the hopefuls in the attempt to help Jillian make the final and the right decision.

Between the two men, Ed had said the right words. But it was Kiptyn that passed the personality test. The only thing Jillian’s family have about Ed is the fact that he’s practically married to his work.

Even so, Ed was the rightful winner. He deserve Jillian better than Kiptyn who, when asked if he’s inlove with Jillian stuttered, “I’m, I’m I’m getting there.”

Jon Gosselin’s Other Kate

First it was Kate Gosselin. Then Hailey Glassman. Now another name has surfaced. And she’s shares Jon’s ex-wife’s name.

Jon Gosselin said that he’s dating Kate Major and he cares about her big time. Kate is a Star Magazine writer and reports has it that she resigned from her job because of Jon.

Kate says that she’s just going to write a feature on the reality TV dad when she fall for him. Five days after the interview, they were going out together.

Now, Kate Major is given the name Kate 2.0. And she’s appealing to the public saying that she’s a nice and genuine person. And that she never really meant for anything like a divorce to happen.

The question is, when did Kate 2.0 became a girlfriend and when did Hailey Glassman come into the picture? Is it Kate Major that triggered the Gosselin breakup? Jon has Major explaining to do.
